The Addlestone Community Association (ACA) was formed in 1948 and is a Registered Charity, No. 304962. The original Community Centre was funded by ACA sponsored events, donations and bequests and was opened in 1968. It was replaced by a new Centre, leased and maintained by the ACA, in September 2005. The Community Centre is managed entirely by volunteers and is administered by a General Committee.
There are three halls. The main (Tulk) hall has: a full stage, sound systems, stage lighting and retractable raked seating. In addition, there are four meeting rooms and two well-equipped kitchens.
Over thirty groups regularly use the wide range of activities which include: badminton, various dance and fitness classes, historical and photographic societies, theatre groups and much more.
We have 6 different sections: Keep fit, badminton, 2 theatre groups, dance and a camera club.
We have free car parking for 18 vehicles. You MUST validate your registration number when entering the building. We have a cafe open during the day for hot drinks and light snacks. There is also a fully licenced bar for events. We have fully equipped workshop and staff available to help with your DIY. A lot of our members become life members and many stay with us for decades. There are so many different groups in the Community Centre, there will definitely be a circle for you.
