Reference: AL-TOS-2026-V3
1.1 “The Provider” refers to T900 Websites and the Addlestone Local A-Z platform.
1.2 “The Subscriber” refers to any individual or business entity purchasing a listing or using the directory services.
1.3 “The Platform” includes the website (runnymedelocal.com) and all associated social media assets (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
1.4 “The Content” includes text, images, logos, and data scraped or provided for the purpose of directory listings.
2.1 Stripe Integration: All financial processing is outsourced to Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. The Provider does not store Primary Account Number (PAN) data. Subscribers are bound by the Stripe Services Agreement.
2.2 Direct Debit Mandates: By initiating a Bacs Direct Debit via Stripe, the Subscriber acknowledges that the mandate is subject to bank clearing cycles (typically 3–6 business days). The “Visibility Period” does not begin until funds are fully cleared.
2.3 Non-Refundability (The “Received Funds” Rule): * 2.3.1 Once funds are successfully debited, they are deemed “Earned Revenue.”
2.3.2 No refunds, credits, or pro-rata adjustments will be issued for “change of mind,” business closure, or perceived “lack of leads.”
2.3.3 The Subscriber waives the right to “chargeback” cleared funds via their bank for services already rendered/listed.
2.4 Pricing Volatility: The Provider reserves the right to adjust monthly subscription rates with thirty (30) days’ written notice. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of new rates.
3.1 Termination Rights: Subscribers may terminate their agreement at any time.
3.2 The 5-Day Technical Window: Due to the automated nature of Bacs and Stripe processing, cancellation requests must be received five (5) business days before the renewal date. Requests received inside this window may result in one final automated collection, which is non-refundable.
3.3 Automatic Downgrade: Upon termination, “Featured” listings will be downgraded to “Basic” or removed entirely at the Provider’s discretion upon the expiry of the paid term.
4.1 Scraped Information: The Provider utilizes automated software to “scrape” or “crawl” the web for local business data. This data is provided “as-is.”
4.2 AI Content Generation: The Platform uses Large Language Models (AI) to synthesize descriptions. The Subscriber acknowledges that AI can produce “hallucinations” (factually incorrect statements).
4.3 The Fallibility Clause: The Subscriber explicitly agrees that the Provider is not liable for any damage, loss of profit, or reputational harm caused by:
4.3.1 Typos or clerical errors by staff.
4.3.2 Incorrect data derived from out-of-date web sources.
4.3.3 AI-generated inaccuracies.
4.4 The “Check Your Listing” Duty: The burden of accuracy lies with the Subscriber. Any errors must be reported to the Provider for manual correction.
5.1 Server Uptime: The Provider utilizes third-party cloud hosting. While we target 99.9% uptime, we are not liable for outages caused by host-side maintenance or global DNS failures.
5.2 Force Majeure: The Provider is not liable for failures caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to: power grid failures, cyber-attacks (DDOS), war, pandemics, or the failure of the UK banking system.
5.3 Broken External Links: If the Subscriber’s own website or social media page is “down” or “insecure” (SSL errors), the Provider is under no obligation to fix or hide the link on the A-Z directory.
6.1 Third-Party Platform Dependency: Much of the Platform’s value is derived from the Addlestone Local Facebook Group/Page. 6.2 Meta Terms: The Subscriber must comply with Meta’s community standards. If Facebook removes a post or “shadowbans” the Provider’s account, the Provider is not in breach of contract.
6.3 Usage Rights: The Subscriber grants the Provider a perpetual, royalty-free license to use provided business images and logos for marketing across social media.
7.1 Data Collection: We collect minimal data (Email, Name, Phone) for account management. 7.2 Disclosure: We do not sell data. We only disclose data to third parties (like Stripe) as necessary to execute the service.
7.3 Cookies: Essential and Performance cookies are used to track site health and checkout security.
8.1 Professionalism: The Provider is a local, community-focused entity.
8.2 Abuse Policy: We have a zero-tolerance policy for abusive, aggressive, or discriminatory communication.
8.3 Immediate Termination: Any breach of Clause 8.2 (as determined solely by the Provider) will result in the immediate removal of the business listing and the blocking of the Subscriber from all Platform assets. No refunds will be issued for remaining time in the billing cycle.
The Subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless T900 Websites and its staff against any and all claims, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from the Subscriber’s listing or their breach of these terms.
