National Year of Reading 2026

Addlestone Library is celebrating the "National Year of Reading 2026" with a series of community events this March. As part of the "Go All In" campaign, the library is currently hosting British Science Week activities (running until March 15), including paper aeroplane design challenges for local families.

Other upcoming highlights include a Mother's Day Craft session on Saturday, March 14, and the "Heads & Tails" storytelling spectacle. The library has also launched the Surrey Library Quest, encouraging residents of all ages to complete reading tasks to win local prizes.
