ShopWatch

In response to a rise in shoplifting offences, Surrey Police have officially launched a "Shopwatch" scheme on Station Road this week. Local PCSOs have been assigned to the area to facilitate better communication between business owners and law enforcement.

Several Community Protection Warnings have already been issued to repeat offenders. Residents can expect to see increased foot patrols as part of the Home Office-funded Hotspot Policing initiative.
